What are your fees?
Every client is different and I tailor my time and services appropriately to every individual or company that I work with. Corporate rates are structured differently to the rates for personal coaching. I can provide you with a quote based on your needs after a free initial phone consultation.
What is coaching?
Coaching is a collaborative process involving a high level of interpersonal skills. A coach listens and questions their client in order to elicit the strengths, values, beliefs and potential obstacles standing in their way. Together we establish where you want to go with your life, business or problem at hand, or what you want to be different. Then we determine the measurable and realistic steps it will take for you to get there, and determine the way forward. The coach acts as a facilitator to draw out the answers, and to help you stay encouraged and accountable.
Is personal coaching like counselling?
No - not really. Coaching is solution focused and tends to look forward rather than back. However, my experience and style mean that I appreciate how our past experiences are often alive and well in our decision making, our self talk, and our self belief. Sometimes our past is the reason why we cant move forward. In that sense, I welcome conversation that is reflective and honours where you have been. Im here to listen, reflect, encourage and sometimes challenge.
I will however always keep your aim in mind and steer you back to where you are heading. While it's good to glance in the rear-view mirror occasionally to notice how far we've come, it's important to remember that you're not going that way!
Is Business coaching the same as mentoring or consulting?
No. Consults and mentors provide you with suggestions, guidance and answers. They are usually experts in your field of business brought in to solve specific problems. Coaches will not know necessarily know anything about your field of business. We are experts in people and how to get the best out of them, help them feel happy empowered and productive - and therefore help your company thrive.
